We are delighted to see our employees giving back to the community! Combee Academy of Design and Engineering continues to inspire students through hands-on STEM learning with its indoor honeybee observation hive. The hive was installed at the start of the 2019–2020 school year after the school received grant funding from the Whole Kids Foundation and The Bee Cause Project. The grant was secured by our own Tracy Miller while she served as the school's Magnet Resource Specialist in 2019, helping bring this unique educational resource to Combee Academy's STEM lab. Since then, the observation hive has provided students with engaging, hands-on opportunities to learn about honeybees, pollination, biodiversity, and the vital role bees play in maintaining healthy ecosystems. As part of the school's ongoing bee education program, Tracy recently returned to Combee Academy to present at the Honeybee Festival, where she shared her knowledge and passion for beekeeping with students. We are proud to see Tracy continue supporting a program she helped establish, and honored to celebrate her commitment to environmental education, community involvement, and inspiring the next generation of learners.
