Disaster Relief Assistance for Growers
Posted April 4, 2018

As the USDA continues the process of finalizing its disaster relief package for assistance to growers damaged by Hurricane Irma, one thing has become clear: to receive a payment you will have to buy crop insurance for at least two years. At this point, we do not know how much coverage you will be required to purchase, or if the normal application deadline will be extended. Given the uncertainty in this process as to both timing and amount, we strongly suggest you purchase coverage at some level by the application deadline of April 15. We are ready to help you navigate this process, so contact us today at 888-296-7533, and one of our sales associates will be happy to help you through this process.
